It is the dawn of a new era in Ikelenge District.
The community radio station Nsulu Radio has just received it’s license to operate and Chejeji FM has just launched their website (ChejejiFM.com) as they get ready to apply for their broadcasting license.
Ikelenge has been a district for a number of years now and still does not have a radio station broadcasting to the community! So it is exciting to think that the opportunity to speak to all in our community through the medium of radio will soon be available. It is even more exciting that one of the radio stations will be focused on God’s Word.
Chejeji FM’s desire is to be a light (the meaning of the word “chejeji”) in our community by clearly sharing God’s Word through the broadcasting of the gospel, in voice and in music as well as through discussions of Christian Living throughout Ikelenge District. This is such an amazing goal and will be such a blessing for the district.
How wonderful to see such development in our community, even though it is still behind the scenes at the moment and there are no airwaves broadcasting in our area as yet.
