A very well known verse from the book of Ecclesiasties says the following:
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;” (Ecclesiasties 3:1-2)
Almost everything we know has a beginning, and so this is the start of Chejeji.com. Like a seed which was planted starts to grow in a hidden place but then one day the new plant pokes it’s head out into the real world, Chejeji has been hidden but growing over the past few years. However, it is now time to put a visible and public face on Chejeji, as it were, and to poke it’s head out into the known world for all to see.
What has been happening behind the scenes? Well, a few Christians have been working together to share God’s Word with those around them. This has led to much discussion as to how to do so in this modern age whether we are in the villages or in the towns or cities. From this it was recognized that we were lacking an online presence which could reach those who we were not able to contact on foot and so was planted the seed which has grown into the organization called Chejeji.
So, who are we? We are a group of Christians who have banded together to share God’s Word with those in our communities and work places.
