Though an old video, created in 1994, The Razor’s Edge has timeless truths. Richard “Toledo” Williamson, was a hustler, fighter, and drug dealer while trying to make a name for himself and erase the “You are nothing” title given to him by his step dad. Through a series of events he finds himself at an extremely low point in his life and almost takes his own life!
A friend and a small booklet change his life and show the power of the message found in the world’s best seller.
We watched this video with the youth after asking and discussing the following questions:
- Why is sin sweet?
- Why is sin easy to do?
- Is it possible to conquer or overcome sin?
The Razor’s Edge was a good concluding video based on true events which helped us to confirm and solidify the truths we learned by seeking answers to the above questions in the bible.
